Last few days have been almost similar- unusually happy days. With me serving the notice period after having submitted my resignation last week, there is hardly anything that I do at office that can be termed as legitimate work. There are a few people who in their mind call me names for coming late to office, doing nothing all day and then leaving early but generally they just simply envy me.
Today has been a little extra special. What has added that extra zing to my day has been this new Atif Aslam song Kuch is Tarah( meaningful lyrics & brilliantly sung ) which I must have played some 50 times since morning and a couple of profound blog posts that I came across during my endeavor to pass time on the internet. For some who did like to read them I am posting the links.
Also these posts bring to my mind a very curious question. What kind of a man I would have become “if” I had studied subjects like psychology or economics or philosophy as a part of my graduate studies?
Sadly the mystique surrounding this question will always remain because very few “ifs” have a definite answer.

In these words of Atanu Dey I guess I have found an answer to the above question,
“You need to understand the world from a wide variety of perspectives. And that requires at the very least reading widely outside your domain of expertise. For people who have a technology and business background, I would suggest history, anthropology, economics, science, literature, etc. This will help you understand and appreciate the connections that link everything around you and you will be able to figure out how to build stuff that will be useful and thus people will pay to get the stuff and you will be a successful entrepreneur.”
